Drug checking services focus on public health and harm reduction among people who use drugs. They analyse drug samples to determine their contents and share the results with their clients to help them reduce their exposure to risk. Service aims vary but typically include harm reduction by informing and warning clients and others about the drugs in circulation, facilitating access to wider support by offering referral to other health and social services, and contributing to drug market monitoring. The Trans European Drugs Information (TEDI) network collects data on the results from the analytical testing from participating European drug checking services based on a common standardised data collection form. These data are processed by TEDI and submitted as a complete set of aggregated city-level data every 6 months to the EUDA.

Use the interactive maps to explore data collected from drug checking services from the Trans European Drugs Information (TEDI) network. Further information on the data, including methods and definitions may be found on the Drug checking methods and definitions page.
