For three years the Ana Liffey Children's Project has operated a joints Childcare initiative between the Northern Area Health Board and the Ana Liffey Drug Project. The Ana Liffey Children's Project aims to promote and support high quality parentling and enhance the quality of life for children whose parents use drugs. This evaluation recommends that the Health Board mainstream the project, provide a child friendly space, increase staff numbers, and support the educational needs of the children attending the project through inter-agency cooperation.
