In 2023, the Programme Office came up with a Plan for its first few years that wanted to work on a few things that were really important to children. Some of the most important things that have changed are:
Families are getting more help with money, like higher payments and wages
It is getting cheaper to send children to childcare
Some schools are getting extra support to make it fair for all children
There are more services in the community for families to be able to use.All children now get free schoolbooks, and many get meals in school
More children can take part in sports, arts, and activities
