The Illicit Drugs Reporting System (IDRS) is a national drug monitoring system that has been conducted annually since 2000. Its purpose is to identify emerging trends of local and national concern in illicit drug use and markets. The system is part of the broader Drug Trends program.

This bulletin aims to examine previous-day drug expenditure amongst a sample of people who regularly inject drugs, using data from the 2024 IDRS.
