The evaluation is attempting to monitor the implementation of DEIS and assess its impact on students, families, schools, and communities at primary and post-primary levels. A variety of methodological approaches have been used in the collection of evaluation data (e.g., questionnaire studies, large-scale achievement testing programmes, school visits, interviews, and focus groups).
