Putting the Pieces Together is a training manual that was developed by the WRDATF to harness an integrated approach to working with young people, parents and communities on the subject of drugs and alcohol.
This blended learning programme will train people in the use and content of the manual. It aims is to act as a guide and a resource for persons working with young people of mixed abilities in an out-of-school setting. This blended learning course which includes 4 zoom sessions and approximately 6 hours self directed learning where all the materials including zoom link are provided on a learning management system. On completion of all elements of the course, participants will receive a copy of the manual via the post.
This course is a blended learning course where participants attend 4 online zoom session and also complete a number of modules online. A short introduction and further information on the delivery and content of the course will be given in advance of the course.
The course aims:
Individuals who intend to complete Putting the Pieces Together awareness/prevention courses with young people within organisations and groups in out-of-school settings (either online or in-person)
Training is for those living in the West of Ireland, though we will accept trainees from outside.
