This report was carried out to assess the needs of homeless street drinkers in Dublin city and to recommend service development. It includes a definition of homelessness, an overview of the literature on issues relating to street drinking, working models for service provision, profiles of Dublin street drinkers, survey results of eleven Dublin hostels and a discussion of a wet hostel in Dublin. This report ends with conclusions and recommendations for further services development.
