Alcohol Forum Ireland (AFI) is an independent national charity that provides support, information and services to individuals, families and communities impacted by alcohol and other drug harm, while also working at the wider levels to change Ireland’s problematic relationship with alcohol. We believe real and sustainable change will only happen by working with communities to address the root causes of alcohol harm in Ireland. Our approach is shaped by evidence and is informed by the needs of the people and communities we work with across Ireland. Throughout the lifetime of our strategic plan (2024-2027), we will work to elevate community voices in policy discussions about laws, policies and programmes that impact on health and wellbeing. We will continue to work alongside people with lived and living experience of alcohol and other drug harm and communities and minority groups disproportionately impacted by alcohol harm to achieve change.
