790. Deputy John Connolly asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the funding his Department has allocated to drug addiction prevention initiatives for each of the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, in tabular form. [73686/25]

The funding provided is for mental health and wellbeing in Higher Education Institutions and the allocation of funding is a matter for the HEIs, however some HEIs have directed this funding to support drug addition prevention initiatives. The table below highlights the funding allocated by SOLAS to Community Education for drug addiction prevention initiatives for the period 2020 to 2025 in Further Education:
