This Growing Up in Ireland report aims to provide a snapshot of the lives of 13-yearolds in the key areas of physical health, education, socio-emotional wellbeing (including free-time activities) and family circumstances. It presents findings from the latest wave of the study in 2021/22 and describes outcomes by key socio-demographic indicators such as gender, household income, parental education and family structure. It provides important insights into differences in experiences at this age in contemporary Irish society as well as a sense of how life has been for these 13-year-olds since they were younger.
