Review question: What interventions specific to rehabilitation are effective in improving the engagement of people with complex psychosis and other related severe mental health conditions in addressing substance misuse?
Substance misuse is common among people with complex psychosis and related severe mental health conditions. However, it can be challenging to encourage this population to take-up and continue with services aiming to address this problematic misuse. The aim of this review is to compare the effectiveness of interventions specific to rehabilitation that aim to improve the engagement of people with complex psychosis and severe mental illness in addressing substance misuse when it is occurring.
