Working with the communities of South and West Dublin, West Wicklow and Kildare to significantly reduce the harm caused to individuals and society by the misuse of drugs and alcohol.

The plan was developed in the period October 2014 – April 2015 under the guidance of a working group. The process for doing so included extensive stakeholder consultation and consideration of relevant written materials. The full report comprises: an introduction; an overview of need in the region; a relatively detailed description of the current response to that need; an analysis of Task Force (TF) strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; and a consideration of the issues that had to be taken into account when drawing up the strategy.
