Pregabalin is a medicine used to treat epilepsy, anxiety and nerve pain.
It comes as tablets or capsules that people swallow. These can have different colours and strengths.
Some people may:
- use pregabalin with other drugs such as heroin
- crush the tablets and snort or inject pregabalin
These increase the risk of negative effects or overdose. You cannot trust the contents or strength of pregabalin sold in the illegal drug market.
