P.16 The total number of clients in methadone treatment in October was 9,364 of this 94.4% were outside prisons and 5.6% (525) were in prisons. Of the 8,839 persons who are on methadone outside prison, the regional breakdown is as follows;
• HSE DML – 4,990
• HSE DNE – 3,056
• HSE South - 467
• HSE West – 326
