Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children (Ms Harney): I propose to take Questions Nos. 149 and 197 together. The mid-term review of the national drugs strategy recommended that a working group involving key stakeholders of both the alcohol and drugs areas should be established to explore the potential for better co-ordination between the two areas and how synergies could be improved. The working group, which is to be chaired by my Department, will also examine and make recommendations on whether a combined strategy is the appropriate way forward. The establishment of the working group is under consideration by my Department and it is intended that it should report by end 2006.
