This report looks at risk factors in adolescent drug use.The authors firstly compile the needs of political decision makers and then use the ESPAD survey results as a vehicle to conduct an in-depth analysis on risk factors for substance use in Finland, Malta and France. The use of the ESPAD survey, as applied to science, media, and public policy in France, is also explored.
