The North Eastern Regional Drugs Task Force (NERDTF) was established in 2003 and comprises of statutory, community and voluntary bodies. This strategy is the work of the task force and identifies 39 strategic gaps. The NERDTF is believes these should be addressed in the lifetime of this strategy. Most of the gaps mentioned are costed and it is hoped that adequate funding will be provided. It is also hoped that a full time coordinator is appointed.
