The overall objective of the package is to enable students to develop their ability to take charge of their health and specifically to make conscious and informed decisions about the use of drugs (legal and illegal) in their lives. The package includes a handbook and five books, one each on Identity and Self-Esteem, Understanding Influences, Assertive Communication, Feelings and Decision Making. This document contains sample materials from the "On my own two feet" programme, including sections on assertiveness and communication.
