This report analyses the needs and general lifestyles of marginalized youth in the Midland region. This data was collected to best develop services of the Midland Health Board to meet the needs of these young people. The methodology for this research was qualitative. Fifteen focus were conducted with marginalized young people through training centres, youth centres and schools. Individual interviews were also used. The issues covered included sexual health; smoking, drinking and drugs; education; expectations; mental health; and services. Several recommendations are made to ameliorate the conditions that many of these marginalized youths find themselves in.
