This paper documents a suggested approach and set of actions to be tacken in tackling drug misuse in Clonmel. Also presented is the process of consultation with the various stakeholders involved in the prevention of drug misuse in the town. Specific gaps in services, which were identified during the consultation process are also reported and key strategic principals are outlined, including: increased focus on the disadvantaged and marginalised, involvement of parents and communities and provision of additional focused and accessible youth services and facilities.
