The European Men-Who-Have-Sex-With-Men and Trans Persons Internet Survey 2024 (EMIS-2024) was an anonymous, multilingual, online sexual health survey conducted among gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM) and transgender populations across 50 countries in Europe. EMIS-2024 was the first iteration of the survey to include non-binary people who are sexually attracted to men. EMIS-2024 is the third wave in this series, with the two previous waves conducted in 2010 and 2017. The purpose of the survey is to address the health, mental health and sexual health challenges faced by MSM, transgender and non-binary individuals. Building on previous iterations of the survey, the EMIS-2024 questionnaire was designed to measure sexual health  outcomes, prevention practices and unmet prevention needs to inform HIV and STI prevention strategies, service planning and treatment programmes tailored to the needs of MSM and transgender communities.
