This year’s conference theme is:

“Beyond the Data: Responding to Drug Related Intimidation (DRI) – Connecting Research, Policy and Action”

DRI is a complex issue that cannot be addressed by any one organisation or sector alone. The DRIVE Project recognises the importance of interagency working, shared understanding and strong partnerships in developing effective responses and supporting those affected.

This conference is an opportunity to come together, share knowledge, strengthen connections and help to continue to shape the future responses to drug-related intimidation in Ireland.

The conference will provide an opportunity to look beyond the statistics and explore the real experiences, challenges and impact of Drug Related Intimidation (DRI) on individuals, families and communities across Ireland.  The conference will also provide an opportunity to hear from a range of speakers and contributors, share experiences and perspectives, and connect with others working to address drug-related intimidation across Ireland.  Guest speakers will include representation from the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), Executive Programme on Paramilitarism & Organised Crime (EPPOC) and Public Health Agency, An Garda Síochána, Health Research Board and Panel Discussion.

Whether you are working directly with individuals and families affected by DRI, involved in policy or research, working within a community, voluntary or statutory organisation, or have an interest in developing our national response, we would be delighted to welcome you.

If you wish to attend, please register by the Eventbrite link by 12 October 2026, places are limited, please book your place early to avoid disappointment.  There is no cost to attend this event and refreshments will be provided.
