During the year 2025, the Parole Board held 15 board meetings. In these meetings, 81 parole applications were considered by the Parole Board and 55 final parole decisions issued by year end. 44 parole applications were refused, 12 parole orders were granted, 24 parole orders were varied and 3 parole orders were revoked. In addition to consideration of applications and issuing of decisions, the board secretariat conducted 11 information sessions in various prisons around the country to provide information to relevant parties on the parole process.
