351. Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Health if non-specialist tobacco and vape retailers, such as barbers and phone shops, will be allowed to continue to sell vaping and tobacco products under the Department's proposed retail licensing system; and to outline the specific criteria for a retailer to obtain a licence under the new system. [66654/25]
Minister for Health: Responsibility for the application and enforcement of the Public Health (Tobacco Products and Nicotine Inhaling Products) Act 2023 is a matter for the National Environmental Health Service. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
