The reduction in waiting times was also supported by a pilot of service transformation which continued across a number of Jigsaw services in 2024. This programme of work changes the way in which young people are o�ered initial support at Jigsaw. Previously, young people were o�ered a screening assessment appointment at their point of referral. This was followed by a more global assessment prior to any therapeutic work. While comprehensive, this approach is resource intensive at a time of high demand. Following several of our key international partners such as Foundry and Headspace, our programme of service transformation set out to change the ‘front door’ at Jigsaw.
