  1. Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Health the number of applicants to the Medical Cannabis Access Programme in each year since 2017; and the number of successful applicants to the scheme in the same period, in tabular form. [24716/25]

Jennifer Carroll MacNeill, Minister for Health: There have been 64 applications to date under the Medical Cannabis Access Programme (MCAP), all of which have been successful.

Whilst the regulations are from 2019, the MCAP was operationalised by the HSE in November 2021 when products that satisfied the regulatory requirements became available.
