The National Suicide Research Foundation (NSRF) was founded in 1994. Since then, we have been committed to improving the accuracy and understanding of Irish suicide statistics. Our research has been pivotal in shedding light on the scope of suicidal behaviour. The insights gained from our work have helped to shape national strategies and provide crucial data that enable healthcare providers, policymakers, and communities to take decisive actions toward prevention and support. Today the NSRF is a centre for excellence nationally and internationally in the field of suicide and self-harm prevention.
