- MBRS testing and new developments: High levels of alcohol and other drugs in driver toxicology testing. Approval of alcohol interlock devices gives potential for tackling drink driving dangers in the future
- RSA research: 11% of motorists have driven after having a drink in last 12 months. 25% say it is acceptable to drive short distances after consuming one drink
- AGS: To end November 2024 over 7000 drivers have been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs, over 1 driver every hour, every day.
