This review constitutes a status report on those actions from July – December 2023. During this period, strong progress continues to be made in implementing actions identified in the Drogheda Implementation Plan

Drug use

The Red Door Project are one of three S.39 services (Red Door, TURAS and MCDAR project) in the Louth Meath area receiving funding (€23,454) from the HSE to develop 12 week workshops relating to cocaine use. €80,000 has been allocated to this initiative in total.

The HSE allocated €35,000 in Q4 2023 to support the increased costs associated with the roll out of the Recovery College Dual Diagnosis & Trauma Informed Care programme across the NE area (Louth/Meath/Cavan/Monaghan).
