  1. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Health whether she will consider reconvening the HSE Working Group on Residential Treatment and Rehabilitation (Substance Users) to identify bed capacity issues currently; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46379/23]

Minister of State at the Department of Health: In 2006, the HSE appointed an expert working group to provide a detailed analysis and overview of known current residential treatment services and to advise on the future residential requirements of those affected by drug and alcohol use.

As this question is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
