A pharmacobezoar is a conglomerate of medications, forming a hard mass in the gastrointestinal tract [1]. Sustained-release tablets are prone to the formation of a pharmacobezoar as they contain cellulose derivatives which lead to the aggregation of tablets [1]. This presents a high risk for recurrent intoxication [2].
