Developed under the guidance of an expert Steering Group which had been in place since early 2019, the Youth Justice Strategy 2021 – 2027 was published in April of 2021. The Strategy is informed by detailed consultation with key agencies and stakeholders and also reflects feedback from a public consultation process. This Implementation Statement provides an update on the progress made in carrying forward the wide range of Objectives and Key Actions set out in the Strategy during 2021. It concentrates on a number of Priority Areas which are referenced in Appendix 3 of the Strategy.
