Demand for a drug used to treat codeine addiction has almost quadrupled over the past five years (The drug — which can also treat other opioid addictions such as heroin). But one expert told The Irish Sun on Sunday: “The codeine problem is undertreated. It’s much, much bigger. I would say it’s far bigger than heroin as a problem.”....
