Reviewers identified four cluster‐RCTs that reported a score for the implementation of workplace‐based policies and practices for health promotion. One RCT including 29 workplaces (1214 employees) reported improvements in the Environmental Assessment Tool (EAT) score at two‐year follow‐up for workplaces receiving a moderate‐ or high‐intensity intervention. The other three RCTs with 164 workplaces (over 21,000 employees) were combined in a meta‐analysis and showed little to no benefit of implementing the health promotion intervention. Reviewers rated this evidence as low certainty, precluding firm conclusions.
