The EU’s maritime anti-drugs smuggling agency has seized almost as much cocaine so far this year as they confiscated in all of 2020, new figures reveal. The revelation follows the publication of Europol’s Serious and Organised Crime Threat Assessment (SOCTAS) review, which found that unprecedented quantities of cocaine are being trafficked into Europe.
