These Regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Standardised Packaging of Tobacco) Regulations 2017.
These Regulations shall come into operation on 30 September 2017.
Subject to section 6 of the Act of 2015, these Regulations shall apply to tobacco products that are intended for sale by retail in the State.
In these Regulations—
“Act of 2015” means the Public Health (Standardised Packaging of Tobacco) Act 2015 (No. 4 of 2015);
“Act of 2017” means the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2017 (No. 1 of 2017).
