The survey is of 6,000 respondents that are nationally representative of the population on the basis of age, gender, social class and nationality. The survey took place during 2015.

Issues covered include:

• Perceptions of crime (nationally and locally).
• Satisfaction levels amongst victims of crime.
• Satisfaction levels amongst all respondents on the policing service provided to their local community.
• Trust in An Garda Síochána.
• Perceptions of the capability and effectiveness of the organisation.
