This year, Heart Month, will focus on alcohol and the links to heart disease and stroke and will aim to encourage people to Say "When" Sooner.
When it comes to alcohol, you may hear different messages about whether it is good or bad for the heart. You may also wonder "how much is too much?", "what are the recommended maximum weekly levels we should consume?", "what is a standard drink?"
Through this campaign we aim to explore all the lifestyle issues related to alcohol, heart disease and stroke, explain how much is too much and discuss the tricky topic of alcohol, calories and weight.
