On 16 January 2014, the Department of Health hosted a half-day conference on the National Drugs Strategy for those in the government, statutory, community and voluntary sectors working in the drugs and alcohol field. The objective of the conference was to assess how the partnership approach to the delivery of the National Drugs Strategy can be maintained and strengthened. The conference also provided a forum for participants to give their views on how Drug and Alcohol Task Forces can integrate alcohol into their work.
