Based on scientific evidence, the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organisation has classified alcohol as ‘carcinogenic to humans’. According to their research, there are no safe levels of consumption. In order to have no risk of cancer from alcohol it is best not to drink at all, however, if you would still like to enjoy a drink with just a minimum risk, one drink per day for women and two for men is the IARC advised maximum.
