Living with domestic violence has many effects and can result in anxiety, depression as well as negative coping behaviours such as addictions. Chart 4 shows information gathered in relation to other presenting needs in supported housing applicants. Some 66% of applicants had mental health problems, 23% had addiction issues and 16% had both mental health and addiction issues. Chart 4 shows the break-down of other presenting needs.
