345. Deputy Robert Dowds asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide a complete list of names of the persons on the steering group working on the national substance misuse strategy. [10236/11]
346. Deputy Robert Dowds asked the Minister for Health and Children when the national substance misuse strategy will be published; and the cause of the delay in its publication. [10237/11]
Minister for Health and Children (Deputy James Reilly): I propose to take Questions Nos. 345 and 346 together.
The National Substance Misuse Steering Group is examining a wide range of issues in relation to alcohol policy such as pricing, supply and availability, treatment, prevention, marketing and sponsorship. The Steering Group has not yet completed its work. I expect to receive the report before the end of the year. The members of the National Substance Misuse Strategy Steering Group are as follows:
