59. Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of methadone and stabilisation centres in each drug task force area; the number of applicants for treatment at each centre; if there is any area where such a treatment centre is not available and if so the number of applicants from such areas attending for treatment at other centres; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health and Children (Deputy Mary Harney): As this is a service matter it has been referred to the HSE for direct reply.
