This bulletin presents key findings on polydrug use (the use of more than one substance within a specific time period). Analysis was carried out on the data collected for last month use which reflects current use. The focus is on the combinations of both legal and illegal drugs based on information obtained from the first drug prevalence survey of households to be carried out in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. The survey sampled a representative number of people aged between 15 and 64 during late 2002 and early 2003.
