This report gives an outline of alcohol and drug related data collected during 2006. The report covers four sections: developments in 2006, treatment services, education and prevention, and supply and control. The Drug Misuse Research Division of the Health Research Board piloted an exit section to the existing reporting form in conjunction with the Data Co-ordinator and the treatment services in the Health Service Executive South East. The pilot commenced on 1st January, 2007.
