Bissett, Fran, ed. (2004) Suicide project: resources and training for youth workers. Evaluation report. Dublin: Irish Youth Work Press.

Evaluation of the Suicide Prevention Pilot Project developed in a collaborative effort between the National Youth Federation, the National Suicide Review Group, and the Suicide Resource Office of the South Eastern Health Board. The project was delivered in the South Eastern Board Region and consisted of four resources: A Resource Handbook for Youth Organisations; An Information Booklet for Youth Workers; A Three Day Intensive Training Programme (Designated Person Training) and a Series of Three-Hour Information and Awareness Sessions. The report contains significant recommendations for the future delivery of suicide awareness/prevention training, production of resources and the mainstreaming of good practice.
