This report of the Dublin North East Task Force contains a Service Development Plan for the seven areas identified in the Northside Partnership Area: Bonnybrook Fairfield, Darndale Belcamp, Moatview, Donneycarney, Edenmore, Kilbarrack, Kilmore, Clonshaugh Riverside. It is a holistic and integrated plan of community and voluntary representatives, and statutory bodies. It has been developed through a process of consultation and submissions from interested groups from within the Task Force area and has attempted to build on the limited services that exist in these areas.

The plan emphasises consultation, participation, community development, integration sustainability and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. Our responses to area's identified in the Ministerial Task Force Report 1996 : Treatment, Rehabilitation, Education / Prevention, Community Policing, and Estate Management, comes from a base which witnesses the devastation caused by the widespread misuse of drugs and neglect in our communities. It is not only indicative of the need to support the family needs, but also symptomatic of what is happening at community level.
