This report provides information about Irish patterns of Ecstasy use. National and international experiences are compared in order to highlight problem areas and consider available models of response. Overall patterns of recreational drug use; the historic development of the drug Ecstasy; policy and legal dimensions; specific levels and patterns of drug use; and the perception of Ecstasy use in the community are examined.
