Since the launch of the new National Drugs Strategy 2001-2008 "Building on Experience" in May of 2001, Citywide has been facilitating a whole range of different meetings to give people from communities an opportunity to look at the strategy and have some debate and discussion about its contents. The conference gives an opportunity to draw together all of the issues that have arisen from the meetings to date and to put together a document which outlines how communities, families and drug users will be involved in the implementation of the new drug strategy.
