The overarching vision of Ireland’s first sexual health strategy1, launched in October 2015, is to improve sexual health and wellbeing and reduce negative sexual health outcomes. With respect to HIV, this calls for actions to reduce the number of new infections and ensure the health and wellbeing of those living with HIV.
